Please see the letter from the Police Commissioner below asking for your views the questionnaire is quick and easy to do.

Dear Resident,

As your Police and Crime Commissioner I want to work with you to deliver on our policing and community safety priorities and to keep West Yorkshire safe and feeling safe.

These are incredibly challenging times for our police service as the government has cut our police budget by a third at the cost of over 2,000 police officers and staff. As West Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, I can increase the policing element of the council tax to recruit more police here but I want to know what you think to inform the decisions I need to take. I would be therefore very grateful if you could spare some time to complete this short questionnaire to gather your views and encourage your colleagues, friends and family to do the same.
